Summary:

Don't wate your time with MeetMe.com - It's a scam!

Our last review was MeetMe.com. We were looking for something a little different than ordinary singles dating websites. MeetMe.com is very much different than traditional dating sites. To give you an idea of the type of site MeetMe.com is – imagine Facebook, MySpace, and a crappy dating site having an ugly love child. That’s MeetMe.com.

Profile creations are very basic. Most people just enter a few sentences about themselves. You can add random friends by searching through the member directory. If a profile is not set to private, you are able to make a comment on their “Wall” even if you aren’t a friend. If MeetMe.com sounds more like Facebook than a dating site, you would be correct. However, there is a bit of a dating aspect on this site. Sort of.

Some of the members actually are looking for a relationship. But most are really just looking for friends to chat with. Truthfully, this was the worst site we reviewed for meeting other singles interested in a relationship. Actually, it’s the worst site we reviewed for meeting anyone. Even Craigslist or Facebook would be better sites for finding love than MeetMe.com. But if you’re just looking to screw around and Troll some people, go ahead and have some fun on here. It doesn’t cost you anything, but you’ll have to check your maturity level at the door…

MeetMe.com: Reviewing Our MeetMe.com Results & Experience With The Website

We didn’t even take this site serious in terms of getting dates. Women aren’t on there looking for love. Few are even looking for sex. They’re mostly just looking for an ego boost. For example, there are tons of insecure women that will ask guys to “Rate” them. Men will give them a score of 1-10, just as women do for men seeking an ego boost. The only fun part of MeetMe.com is asking women random questions on their Wall. Most guys either ask for a “Rate”, tell a woman how sexy she is (even if she’s fat and ugly) or ask her if she’d like to trade nude photos with him. Now you see why we said you need to check your maturity level at the door.

GENERAL ASSESSMENT OF THE WOMEN

  1. Some are attractive, but most are not
  2. Very snobby women
  3. Lack maturity

There’s really no point in sharing with you our (lack of) results, but just in case you’re curious…no, we didn’t meet anyone on MeetMe.com. We did send out our usual 450 total emails to completely random strangers. Since most women on there don’t even pay attention to their Inbox, we didn’t get many responses. 15, to be exact.

MeetMe.com Review: Conclusion

MeetMe.com isn’t a serious dating site. We knew that going in. But we wanted to try something different for our last review. It was kind of fun for about an hour. We spent some time Trolling. After that, it became boring and childish. And since it’s very hard to meet someone on there, it was a waste of time. But at least we didn’t pay anything. However, we had more fun and success on Match.com, Xpress.com, etc.

Thanks for reading this MeetMe.com review. I hope it helps clarify that MeetMe.com is a total scam and is NOT a legit dating website and NOT for real! Check out these legit singles sites instead of MeetMe.
