MatchMaker.com wasn’t ranked in our Top 5 singles dating sites because it didn’t deserve to be. When you have a dating site that’s virtually impossible to find true love, how could we give it a high ranking? The only reason MatchMaker.com ranks right in the middle of the pack is because the majority of the sites are terrible. That doesn’t mean it’s an average dating site. Calling MatchMaker.com an average dating site is an insult to average dating sites. Granted, we haven’t found any average dating sites – only good and bad, but still…
We almost backed away from signing up for MatchMaker.com after reading a ton of negative reviews about the site. But you just never know whom the reviews are coming from. Were they written by angry former members that couldn’t meet someone on any site? Or were they written by the competition? So we don’t trust reviews we read. Therefore, we gave MatchMaker.com a shot. As it turns out, all of those reviews were accurate. That will teach us not to trust people! Everything negative we read in the reviews was spot on. The same problems we had with the site were the same complaints they made.
MatchMaker.com: Reviewing Our MatchMaker.com Results & Experience With This Website
Many of the sites we gave negative reviews to were free dating sites. MatchMaker.com actually charges for their membership. Unfortunately, they offer just as much, or should we say little, as the free sites. The only difference is they don’t bombard you with a gazillion annoying advertisements. That’s where the positives about MatchMaker.com begin…and end.
The horrible ranking we gave this singles dating site was due in large part to what we were unable to accomplish. Namely, women on MatchMaker.com aren’t too keen to responding to messages. Because of that, it’s quite the task trying to score a date. That’s pretty typical for most dating sites.
GENERAL ASSESSMENT OF THE WOMEN
- Women are unattractive and insecure
- Women have little interest in responding to messages
- Women are way too picky considering who they are
If this is the first review of ours you’ve read, we’ll fill you in on our review process details. There were 5 of us guys that live in 5 different major cities throughout the United States. We each created a profile and sent an email per day to women for a period of 12 weeks. That’s 450 total emails. Our goal was to get a response to 50% of the emails and for each guy to set-up 2 dates. How close to our goal did we come on MatchMaker.com? About as far away from it as possible! 71 responses for a 15.8% response rate and 0 dates scheduled. Amazing! Or not…
MatchMaker.com Review: Conclusion
There’s really nothing left to say. MatchMaker.com is a waste of money. Spend it more wisely on Xpress.com and/or the other singles dating sites we recommend.
Thanks for reading this MatchMaker.com review. I hope it helps clarify that MatchMaker.com is a total scam and is NOT a legit dating website and NOT for real! Check out these legit singles sites instead of MatchMaker.
