Summary:

Our #2 Favorite Site. Match an oldie, but a goodie, and it's a very good dating site.

Match.com has been around the block. They’re certainly not new to the online dating game. And as time goes by, Match.com keeps getting better and better. They keep up with the times well. As new dating sites improve, Match.com steps up and surpasses them.Match.com’s business owners continually pump millions of dollars into creating the best online dating product imaginable.

match call to action

According to Match.com, 1 in 5 relationships now begin online. Many of those couples met on Match.com. In fact, more relationships begin on Match.com than any other dating site. This is no surprise to us. Since relationships are being built at a ridiculous rate on Match.com, guys and gals are signing up in droves. That means more competition. And that’s a good thing. More competition forces you to step your game up and better yourself in the ways we teach in our singles dating guide. It also means you’re going to find better women (or men, depending on your gender). We’ve reviewed Match.com and here are our findings…

Match.com: Review Of Our Match.com Results

Guys looking for a site with an insane amount of good looking women will not be disappointed on Match.com. Even better than their appearance, there are a seemingly endless supply of women with great personalities. Oh, and you’ll be happy to know…Match.com does not populate their site with fake profiles. They don’t need to. They do a good enough job of promoting their site. There’s no point in creating fake profiles.

REVIEW SUMMARY
We find enjoyment out of reviewing dating sites. But we don’t only do it purely for entertainment purposes. The main reason for our reviews is to provide you with an unbiased description of each singles dating site. We showed no favoritism based on perception. And, yes, Match.com was perceived to be a great dating site. But we let our results speak for themselves.

GENERAL ASSESSMENT OF THE WOMEN

  1. Good mix of nationalities, body types, and plenty of pretty faces
  2. Most appear to be very down to earth
  3. Majority truly looking for love – not just a booty call

We worked hard to meet women on Match.com. There’s too much competition to not create an appealing profile and catchy, original emails. Our hard work most definitely paid off. In 12 weeks, 5 guys sent out an email a day to women on Match.com. The goal was to receive a 50% response rate to these emails and set-up at least 2 dates per person. We far exceeded these goals. Out of 450 emails sent, 341 were responded to (75.8%) and 20 women agreed to go on a date with our guys (4 per person). Both the response rate and number of dates set-up ranked 2nd out of 15 sites. Needless to say, we have very little to complain about with Match.com.

The Top Match.com Things That Worked

Match.com is a site that rewards aggressive men. No, not aggressive sexually. We’re talking about being persistent with women and contacting as many as you can and following up with them. The last part of that sentence is the most important. Respond quickly to any messages sent to you. Match.com is a “snooze, you lose” site. If you aren’t first to respond to her message, you can rest assured someone else will beat you to it. That’s why we suggest being aggressive and highly active on the site. And play the numbers game. More women contacted = more dates.

Match.com Review: Tactics For Gaming Match.com

When you’re filling out the questionnaire for your profile, think about the type of women you want to attract. You should answer the questions based on what type of woman you want to date. So if into intelligent women, answers to questions about your ideal partner should reflect that. You probably won’t be after the High School dropouts, so don’t waste your time selecting “no preference” when asked the education level of your ideal Match.com. It’s all about knowing what type of woman you’re into and trying to Match.com your answers with hers.

We used Match.com mostly to score dates right away. It takes far less time to set-up dates on this site than any other. The reason for that is they have such a complex compatibility system that you have less to talk about online. You already know a lot about each other before you begin chatting. Since you know so much about each other right away, you know if there’s a mutual connection. We recommend using Match.com as your go-to site for when you need a date quickly. You can use the other dating sites (preferably Xpress.com and/or eHarmony.com) to keep your dating pipeline full at all times.

Match.com Pitfalls: What We Didn’t Love On Match.com

There were 2 occasions where we logged in and the site was under construction for updates. It caused a minor problem because, on both occasions, we had emails we needed to respond to. It never caused a major disaster because we were able to get in contact with the women the following day with an apology. But if these weren’t understanding women, we probably would have lost out. We’re not complaining much about this because we like the fact that Match.com frequently updates their site. But still, it was a slight annoyance.

Match.com Review: Conclusion

We’ve said a lot of good things about Match.com, so you’re probably wondering how on earth we ranked them #2 and not #1. There are two reasons for that. First off, Xpress.com is just THAT awesome of a dating site. The other reason is the results we had. Sure, we had some amazing results on Match.com. But we had even better results on Xpress.com
Match.com has a lot to offer single men and women. Although there is a lot of competition out there, you’ll find that there are enough men and women to go around. We most enjoyed the compatibility matching system. It’s very complex and allowed us to only view profiles of women we were likely to have interest in. The system isn’t perfect – much like ANY compatibility matching system – but it’s better than any other. Match.com is the perfect complement to Xpress.com. You should be signed up for both. If you do, you’ll have a never-ending pipeline of women ready to go out on a date with you.

Thanks for reading this Match.com review. I hope it helps clarify that Match.com is a not a scam and is a legit dating website and definitely the real deal!
